Privacy & data

What we collect, why, and how to ask us to change it.

This page is the public data notice for coatflow.eu. It covers the waitlist submissions from the Predictability Pledge, the inbound messages from /contact, and the anonymous navigation logs we receive through the Polsia Analytics beacon. If anything below is wrong or incomplete, write to hello@coatflow.eu and we will publish a correction.

Three sources of data, only when you provide them

We do not run third-party advertising or remarketing trackers. The data below is everything CoatFlow B.V. holds that relates to you as an identifiable person.

Waitlist submissions — /pledge

Company name, work email address, country (Netherlands / Belgium / Luxembourg / other), and the timestamp your submission was received. Stored in the waitlist_signups table on our Neon Postgres database and registered with our email provider against the company name.

Contact enquiries — /contact

Your name, company, work email, and the message you send (up to 2,000 characters), plus the timestamp your message was received. Delivered to the CoatFlow inbox via the platform email proxy and registered as a known contact on our email provider so the conversation threads correctly.

Anonymous nav logs

The Polsia Analytics beacon sets a random visitor identifier (polsia_vid) in your browser's localStorage and sends it together with the page path on every page load. No IP address, no fingerprint, no cross-site tracking — only the random id and the path you visited.

A purpose for every data point.

For the waitlist: to reserve your slot in the first Benelux wave, to send the welcome email, and — only on the first signup per company — to alert the founders so they know who to follow up with. For /contact: to reply to the question you raised and to keep the conversation in one inbox. For analytics: to measure aggregate traffic to the site so we know whether the calculator and the catalogue reach the people they are written for. We do not sell, rent, or share any of this with third parties for their own use.

How long each piece of data is held

Retention is the founder's choice, not a vendor default — and it is short. If you want a piece of data removed or frozen, send a single email to hello@coatflow.eu and we act on it within one business day.

Waitlist submissions

Kept in the waitlist_signups table for as long as CoatFlow B.V. is actively onboarding from the waitlist. Removed on written request, or once the founder retires the list. We do not have a separate archive copy.

Contact messages

Kept in the CoatFlow inbox for the duration of the business relationship with you, and in our backup of that inbox for the standard email-retention window. Removed on written request, including past message threads.

Analytics visitor id

The polsia_vid lives only in your browser's localStorage. We never read it back to a server we control; it is sent from the page to the Polsia beacon endpoint on each load. Clear your browser storage to reset it.

Four GDPR rights, one inbox.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it rectified if it is wrong, to have it erased ("right to be forgotten"), and to receive a copy of it in a portable format (data portability). Submit any of the four — or any other data question — to hello@coatflow.eu with "Data request" as the subject line. We confirm receipt within one business day and resolve straightforward requests within 30 days.
